DueBox Privacy Policy

DueBox helps users manually track recurring payments such as rent, bills, loans, insurance, taxes, software subscriptions, and renewals.
Data We Collect
- Email address for authentication.
- Name, if provided by Apple or Google sign-in, for account display.
- User-entered recurring payment data, including payment name, category, amount, currency, due date, reminder settings, notes, and payment history.
- Basic account identifiers required to keep user data linked to the correct account.
Data We Do Not Collect
- DueBox does not connect to bank accounts.
- DueBox does not process payments.
- DueBox does not collect card numbers or banking credentials.
- DueBox does not sell personal data.
- DueBox does not use data for third-party advertising or tracking.
How Data Is Used
Data is used to provide recurring payment tracking, local reminders, offline access, and sync across signed-in devices.
Storage and Sync
DueBox stores data locally on the device using SQLite. When the user is signed in and online, data syncs to Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore.
Notifications
DueBox uses local notifications to remind users before selected due dates. Notification permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings.
Account Deletion
Users can delete their account in the app from Settings. Account deletion removes remote account data and clears DueBox data from the current device.
